This is impulse3’s first time playing at rek’-lis and they are playing over Memorial Day Weekend!

Impulse3 is a newly-formed trio that plays atmospheric groove/ jazz with elements of hip-hop and alt rock. Led by singer/rapper Jonathan Lorentz (also performing on keys & keyboard bass), the band features Tom Robinson on soprano sax, and Tim Gilmore on drums. Their sets are hard-grooving and tight, with influences that range from Gorillaz to Roy Hargrove, the Fresh Prince, Morphine, John Scofield, Tom Waits, Kendrick Lamar and Nine Inch Nails.
